Alexander Jones

Alexander Jones, originally from Great Britain, trained at London's Royal Ballet School. He joined the Stuttgart Ballet in 2005, rising to Principal Dancer in 2011.

Notable roles in Stuttgart included Armand Duval in Neumeier's 'The Lady of the Camellias' and title roles in Cranko's 'Onegin' and O'Day's 'Hamlet'. He also performed in works by Balanchine, Robbins, and others. He later became a Principal Dancer with the Zurich Ballet, starring as Romeo in 'Romeo and Juliet' and in other leading roles, before retiring from the ballet stage. Transitioning to acting, Jones has appeared in films such as 'Written on Water' (2020) and will be seen in the upcoming Prime series 'Étoile', premiering in April 2025.
